The perfect combination of tradition and novelty will now be available on the market in a unique format of Trinidad Short little cigars. This format allows the flavor typical of the brand to be enjoyed in a shorter amount of time, because the well-known Trinidad tobacco mixture was also used in the production here.

Trinidad Short little cigars are named after the beautiful city of La Santísima Trinidad (The Holy Trinity), built in the 16th century. It is located on the south coast of Cuba and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Trinidad Short little cigars date back to 1969 as a Habanos brand. Like the Cohiba, it was made exclusively as a gift for foreign diplomats. It was not released for general sale until 1998. At first there was only one format of the Trinidad – the Fundadores. Now three more formats are added – Reyes, Coloniales and Robusto Extra. All three are “tripa larga, totalmente a mano” – long fillers made entirely by hand. The formats of the Trinidad brand are all unique and do not appear in any other Habanos brand.

The Trinidad Short little cigars were created in El Laguito, the cigar factory that also produces the Cohibas. They consist of a special mixture of selected tobacco leaves from the best Vegas Finas de Primera (first quality plantations) from the Vuelta Abajo region and are known for their classic aroma. Taste: Medium-bodied

The Cohiba Short was followed in 2018 by the Trinidad Short in a box of 10. As a result, Cuba’s second-best brand now has its own cigarette format. We at StarkeZigarren asked the importer for Cuban cigars what the Trinidad Short is all about. What can the fat cigarillos do? How are they made?

Trinidad Short little cigars are produced in the CTI cigarillo factory in Cuba. Probably no tobacco typical of Trinidad is used. The short and thick format is cut ready to smoke and wrapped in cellophane. In terms of price, it falls into the “Super Premium Zigarillo” category.
